Pottery Night - September 12th

Ticket Purchase

All ticket sales for the Pottery Night are final. By purchasing a ticket, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined below.

Age Requirements & Supervision

• Minimum age for participation is 12 years old
• Participants aged 16 and under must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times during the event
• The supervising adult must also purchase a ticket and participate in the event

Refunds & Cancellations

Refund requests will only be honoured if made at least 72 hours prior to the event start time. Refunds will not be issued for no-shows or cancellations made within 72 hours of the event.

Please note: Ceramics are at risk of damage when being fired in the kiln, especially when made with improper techniques. Damaged pieces cannot always be prevented and the fault is not that of Beleza Ceramics or the host. No refunds will be issued for damaged pieces.

Late Arrival Policy

No refunds or exchanges will be provided for late arrivals. Late arrivals are permitted at any time during the event, and we will do our best to help them catch up with the class. However:

• The class will begin promptly at the scheduled time without waiting for late arrivals
• The allotted event time is designed for both full building AND decorating of your piece
• Latecomers cannot stay beyond the scheduled event end time
• Late arrival may result in an incomplete piece due to reduced working time

Working With Ceramics

Working with ceramics can be a challenging process, especially for beginners. There are many variables that can affect the final outcome, and there is no guarantee you will be left with a useable piece.

Common issues that may occur include:

• Cracking during the drying process
• Air bubbles causing pieces to "explode" in the kiln
• Glazing imperfections
• Structural weaknesses from improper joining techniques

We do our utmost to give every piece its best chance by slow-drying them and making small adjustments before kiln firing. However, pieces may still inevitably fail during the firing process. This is the natural risk of pottery, and no refunds are issued for pieces that do not survive the firing process.

Happy Accidents Policy

To ensure no one leaves disappointed, participants whose pieces explode (not including handle breakages or cracks) during the firing process can choose either:

• Their piece recreated to it's best likeness.

OR

• A 100% discount code for a future Pottery Night event.

Event Capacity & Overbooking

In the unlikely event that we have oversold an event due to error:

• Affected participants will receive a full refund
• A complimentary ticket for a future Pottery Night of their choice
• First priority booking for upcoming events

Seating Arrangements

• Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis
• Please do not leave spaces between yourself and other guests to ensure groups can sit together
• While we endeavour to seat groups together, we cannot guarantee it
• Groups wishing to sit together should arrive 10-15 minutes early

Alcohol Policy

Most Pottery Night events are alcohol-free. However, if an event specifically advertises as including wine or alcoholic beverages:

• Participants must be 19+ years of age with valid photo ID
• Alcohol consumption is at your own discretion and risk
• Intoxicated participants may be removed from the event without refund
• No outside alcohol is permitted
• We reserve the right to refuse alcohol service to any participant

Health & Safety

• Pottery involves working with clay, glazes, and tools which can be messy

• Please wear appropriate clothing that you don't mind getting dirty

• Please inform us of any allergies to clay materials or dust sensitivity upon arrival

• Participants with respiratory conditions should be aware that clay dust may be present

• Basic first aid is available on-site for minor cuts or injuries

Event Rescheduling

In the event that a Pottery Night must be rescheduled due to unforeseen circumstances:

• Your ticket will be automatically applied to a future event date of your choosing
• You may request a full refund if you can no longer attend

Participation & Liability

By attending this event, you acknowledge and agree that:

• Participation is entirely at your own risk
• Pottery involves inherent risks including but not limited to cuts from tools, slips and falls, and exposure to clay dust
• You voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation
• Beleza Ceramics Ltd., its owners, employees, and venue hosts are not liable for any personal injury, property damage, theft, or loss sustained during the event
• You release and hold harmless Beleza Ceramics Ltd. from any and all claims arising from your participation

Participant Conduct:

• All attendees must behave respectfully toward hosts and other participants
• Disruptive, inappropriate, or unsafe behaviour may result in immediate removal without refund
• We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone

Event Changes

The event host reserves the right to make minor changes to the event including alterations to the schedule, materials, or activities without prior notice, provided these changes do not significantly affect the overall event experience.

Photography & Media Consent

By attending the event, you consent to being photographed or recorded for promotional purposes on social media, websites, and marketing materials.

If you do not wish to appear in photos or videos, please inform the event organizer immediately upon arrival.
