Our Story
How it began
I found pottery one night when I needed to breathe. After long days at a job that drained me, I started playing with air-dry clay at home — candle lit, a playlist on — and it became a small ritual. But the pieces always looked unfinished and I couldn’t actually use them. I wanted something that felt complete and beautiful enough to keep.
So I began to research. Different clays, firing temperatures, glazes, kilns, techniques, and tools. Everything felt confusing, expensive, and oddly gate-kept. The world of real ceramics felt closed off. Tutorials were messy or dated, supplies were confusing and expensive, and the market was full of air-dry alternatives that just don’t last.
I started getting a lot of interest from people following me on my pottery journey wanting to get involved. And so the first Pottery Night event was born in the social room of our apartment building. The first one sold out. Then the next. We kept adding tickets and filling rooms. Messages came from people outside our city asking how they could get the same experience at home. That demand made the choice simple: build a kit to make the beautiful ancient art form of pottery accessible to everyone. Everywhere.
